How We Started ...
In March 1966, my father, along with a working partner, opened
a small print shop just a block from the restaurant he owned and
operated. When his partner, who actually ran the business, left
town and my dad's restaurant was destroyed by fire, he decided
to put all of his energies into running the print shop and get
out of the restaurant business completely. At that time, offices
didn't have copiers as they were the size of a very large desk,
and computers were as large as an entire office.
Over
the years, my father built Kwik Copies Printing Center into a
thriving business with one location in the Midtown area and another
uptown on E. Fourth Street. As a teenager, I worked there in
the afternoons, on weekends, holidays, and during the summer.
After graduating from college in 1976, I went into business with
my Dad. In 1987, my father and I built the Kings Square Shopping
Center and moved the business there. Since then, my father has
retired, and I have tried to continually modernize the business
keeping abreast of the many technological changes that have taken
place in computers, copiers, and in the entire printing process.
In 2007, Dad passed away and there is one thing I haven't
changed, and that is the personalized service and attention that
he insisted we give to each of our clients.

In order to provide the first class service
our clients deserve, I have been very selective in choosing the
associates that work with us. Dolores McKinney, our client services
representative, has been with us since 1980.
She is a Notary
Public and is highly skilled in helping people with any size
printing or copying project.

When our former associate, Lynn Ferrell, who had been in charge
of production for 18 years, died suddenly in November 2000, I looked
for six months until I found the perfect fit for our shop. Raymond
Perez has a Graphic Arts Science Technology Degree and has received
a Certificate of Craftsmanship from the Master Printers of America.
He has been in the printing business for over 30 years and his
quality standards satisfy even our most demanding clients.
Our Mission ...
Printing is more than just a job for us. We are not in this business
just to make a profit, but to serve and assist each of our clients
in any way that we can. Our desire is to treat each client as an
important person who deserves our attention and expertise. We try
to treat your work as important and valuable as if it were something
that we were doing just for ourselves. You are never an interruption
at Kwik Copies Printing Center -- you are the most important person
that we will talk to today.
Dependability is very important to us. We strive to earn your
trust in every phase of our relationship with you. That is
why we offer a 100% Money-Back Guarantee.
We also try to give back to our community by contributing over
10% of our profits to charities in the Charlotte area.
